Just beyond a week after Whitney Houston’s death, much of the world is still in shock. Her homegoing service, which was streamed nationwide via major media outlets, was very emotional but absolutely beautiful.
In the funeral program, Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston penned a letter to her daughter. In the heartfelt piece, she wrote:
“I never told you that when you were born the Holy Spirit told me that you would not be with me long and I thank God for the beautiful flower he allowed me to raise and cherish for 48 years,”
She also spoke of feeling depressed prior to Whitney’s death and having been visited by the Holy Spirit soon after.
