Arrest Made In Assault Of Child At DC Daycare Center

(Washington, DC)  –  An employee of a Northeast DC daycare center is under arrest for the alleged sexual assault of a three-year-old boy.  The child’s mother tells WJLA-TV she is looking forward to seeing 21-year-old Randolph King in court, but she’s still steamed that the daycare coordinator at the Zion Baptist Church of Eastland Gardens on Kenilworth Avenue took two days to tell her about the incident and three days to notify police. King was taken into custody yesterday morning by U.S. Marshals in Prince George’s County and transferred to DC police.  He is charged with attempted first degree child sexual abuse.
