(Washington, D.C.) — The National Weather Service is confirming that nine tornadoes touched down in Maryland on Friday. Three of the twisters touched down in Montgomery County, with the other six hitting in in Anne Arundel, Harford, Carroll, and Prince George’s Counties. Harford County saw the strongest tornado, which caused about a million dollars worth of damage. There were few injuries and no deaths reported as a result of any of the twisters.
