A person was taken into custody in the fatal shooting of a man at a Metro station in Temple Hills on Tuesday night, police say. Around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police say a man was shot in a bus bay at the Southern Avenue Metro station. The 40-year-old victim was allegedly shot in the head and died almost instantly on the scene. Authorities say the gunman then fled the scene, running right through the Southern Avenue Metro station. The station closed soon after the incident, but reopened early Wednesday morning. Prince George’s County Police arrested Norman Marquarus Bonds, 32, of Temple Hills, Md., and charged him with first-degree murder.  Authorities say the incident is still under investigation.
