The gospel ballad, which features lead vocals from Timiney Figueroa Caton and Denise Tichenor, is the first single from Carr’s latest CD with his Kurt Carr Singers called “Bless This House.”
“Bless This House” is a double-disc release that debuted at the top of the Billboard’s Gospel Chart when it was released earlier this year.
In addition to being a sought-after artist in his own right, the Stellar Award-winner has also produced hits for the likes of Shirley Caesar, Tramaine Hawkins, Byron Cage and Bishop Paul S. Morton, to name a few.
The Houston-based talent earned a gold plaque for his 2000 release, “Awesome Wonder,” which sold more than 500,000 units. That album featured the infectious church anthem, ‘In the Sanctuary.’
Carr and his singers are featured on BET’s “Celebration of Gospel” special on Sunday, April 7.
