NBC reports that Boston Marathon bombing suspect  remained hospitalized Monday unable to speak because of a gunshot wound to the throat, but he is starting to respond to questions from investigators through writing, according to Federal officials. Seven days after the marathon bombings killed three people and wounded more than 180 others, Tsarnaev, 19, was expected to be charged by authorities on Monday, NBC News reported. Boston planned to mark the traumatic week with mournful silence and a return to its bustling commute. And services were set to honor two of those killed in last week’s attack. Tsarnaev was communicating with a special team of investigators at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, where he remained in serious condition nearly 48 hours after he was captured after an intense gun battle and manhunt for him and his brother, Tamerlan—the other Boston marathon bombing suspect. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed during a furious getaway attempt in a firefight with police overnight Thursday.
