This week on the Beauty Spot, Kym Lee shares some common beauty myths when it comes to the cold weather.
1. The thicker the face cream is better: these thick creams causes clogged skin cells. Kym says layer your serums
2. Don’t have to wear sunscreen in the winter: UVB rays exist in the winter as well. Make sure we are protected all year.
3. I have oily skin I don’t have to wear moisturizer: Yes you do, try a moisturizing gel instead to keep you skin hydrated.
4. Exfoliating my skin in the winter causes dry patches: exfoliate and get skin cell renewal
5. Extra lip balm will keep my lips from being chapped: This signals the skin to stop producing moister.
