Anita Wilson joins Cheryl Jackson at Praise 104.1 FM to talk about her new album ‘Vintage Worship’, a blend of different eras of music that all tie into a relationship with God. A “natural evolution” from her first album that shares more of her influences of eras of great gospel music and classic R&B/Soul. Anita reveals how she had to embrace her voice and give listeners something different from what they were use to hearing, something that was a journey to be accomplished. As they go through some of the different songs on her album, they discuss the steps it took for her to get the message out but present it differently. To top her first album that was a Grammy nominated, Anita expresses her gratitude toward the platform that was developed by ‘Worship Soul’ and only wants to produce more great music and “to encourage you not only on Sunday but all throughout your life”.
