A 13-year-old girl, Destiny Burton, who had been reported missing by police earlier Wednesday, has been found.
Destiny Burton of Southeast D.C. was last seen Tuesday. Police reported her as “critically missing” Wednesday morning.
“Critically missing” indicates police feel the missing person may be in danger and that his or her disappearance is out of character.
Burton was reported missing from the 1400 block of Howard Road, SE Tuesday.
Wednesday at approximately 12:30 p.m., police said they had located Burton. No other details were immediately available.
