A fire broke out on the roof of Anacostia High School just before noon. According to EMS personnel a large volume of roofing material caught on fire. Everyone was evacuated, but two firefighters were injured while fighting the blaze. The building also suffered extensive damage. All activities have been cancelled for the day.
