
This special evening begins with a cocktail reception and musical performance by the Howard University Jazz Orchestra accompanied by renowned jazz drummer T.S. Monk and jazz pianist Sergio Salvatore and includes a spectacular Runway to Reality fashion show commentated by the legendary Audrey Smaltz; a book signing with NAACP Chairman of the Board Julian Bond, Vice Chairwoman Roslyn Brock and Roger Wilkins, Chairman, The Crisis Publishing Co, Inc. of NAACP: Celebrating a Century 100 Years in Pictures; and a style presentation for men hosted by Uptown magazine. Throughout the evening, view special displays on loan from The International Walk of Fame Shoe Exhibit, The Great Blacks in Wax Museum, and NAACP archival photos.
Tickets are $100 per person with 100% of the proceeds from all tickets sales going to the Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Scholarship Program.
