(Greenbelt, MD) — A man charged with the murder of a mother and a daughter in Largo will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars regardless of the verdict in that upcoming trial. Twenty-eight-year-old Jason Scott has been sentenced in Greenbelt federal court to 100-years in prison for dozens of other crimes, including burglaries, carjackings and armed home invasions. Prosecutors say Scott targeted homes by using a database at a UPS facility where he worked. He will stand trial in October for allegedly killing Delores Dewitt and her 20-year-old daughter in 2009.
