(Frederick, MD) — A former pastor at Barnesville Baptist Church in upper Montgomery County has admitted that he sexually abused a child. Seventy-four-year-old Joe Ivey of Walkersville pleaded guilty in Frederick County Circuit Court to one count of a sexual offense linked to a girl who was about ten-years-old when she was molested at Ivey’s home. Sentencing is set for March 28th and Ivey could be sent to prison for up to 20-years.
