Nearly two months after police brutality victim Rodney King (pictured) reportedly died at the bottom of a pool in Rialto, Calif., his death report has been released. The report indicates that King had several drugs as well as alcohol in his system at the time of his untimely demise, according to TMZ.
King, whose fiancee, Cynthia Kelley, called 911 to report King’s passing, is said to have had marijuana, cocaine, PCP, and alcohol in his system at the time of his death. While the report indicates that King died of an “accidental drowning,” it also reportedly notes that all of these substances contributed to his death.
King, who was thrust on to the international stage after being viciously beaten by the LAPD back in 1991, lived a tumultuous life since the nearly fatal beating, with a number of his alcohol-related crimes punctuating headlines across the country. His addiction to alcohol eventually landed him on VH1′s “Celebrity Rehab.”
Still, friends close to King suspected that their was foul play involved in his passing due to Kelley’s alleged inconsistent recollection of events. Either way, according to CNN, the police investigation of King’s death is closed.
