On http://www.KevinLevar.com, Kevin Levar encourages the hearts of those that are grieving in Newtown Connecticut from the senseless crime that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School. This is what he shared:
On Friday, December 14, the world was shocked to learn that 20 beautiful children and 6 courageous adults were murdered during a school shooting. I can’t imagine the pain the families and community of Newtown, Connecticut must feel. When President Obama addressed our nation with the words, ‘You are not alone,’ I realized that the message of this song was needed by a nation in need of healing.
If I could speak directly to the families and loved ones directly impacted by this unbearable tragedy, I’d say this:
“I believe that God can take the pain of your today and use it to paint a masterpiece on the canvas of your tomorrow.
I pray for your healing…
I pray you will live a life that is full…
I pray you will rise from the ashes of this experience stronger than ever.
Millions are praying for you, holding you up, and carrying you during a time when you may feel that you can’t do it for yourself. We vow to stand beside you.
Please know that you are not alone.”
