The month of February was a tragic one as it relates to our youth. The senseless murders that occurred at Suitland High School and in other parts of our city would make one think that our youth are devoid of any mental or moral value. I wonder if as adults we are ashamed at what we have let our youth become. 2tim3 says ” There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” It is hard to argue that these are the last days. However it is not too late to reach our youth which to the natural eye may seem lost and without any help or recourse of character. That is not so!!! We have a great wealth of opportunity to still reach and make an impact to our youth. We cant give up if we do it says that there is no God and that we never had the authority over the enemy.
Today I wanted to post this video of a group of youth that are doing something positive. Dont judge them because of the way they move or dress or how they may appear to you. Instead applaud their efforts of artistry and the gift that God has blessed them. Anyone of the youth in this video could be a youth from your church or in your neighborhood. Its time for us to find the good and pray about the not good! Enjoy the vid.
