According to www.AlwaysAList.com, Fashion stylist Thomasina “Goo Goo” Atkins and her boyfriend, musician/producer Justin A. Moore have broken up. The couple, who dated for more than a year, confirmed that they actually split a few months ago.

Goo Goo’s relationship with Justin appeared to be a bone of contention for her sisters, Mary Mary’s Erica and Tina Campbell. Throughout season two of the WE TV reality series, “Mary Mary,” there were several sibling arguments and some emotional moments surrounding Goo Goo’s desires to move to Atlanta and marry Justin.

The couple’s relationship wasn’t just a focal point on the TV show, but they found their courtship under constant scrutiny on social media as well.

Now, in a video released to fans, the Los Angeles-based fashionista decided to address the breakup and end the speculation.

“Justin and I are no longer together. It’s nothing horrible or bad or anything like that. It just kind of didn’t work out. There were some things we needed to work on and they just kind of didn’t work themselves out,” she explained.

Goo Goo went on to cite the couple’s “demanding schedules” and “her inability to travel to Atlanta as much” as part of the reason why the relationship ended.

“I pulled back and looked at the overall relationship and I just thought it would be best if we went our separate ways just as friends,” she expressed, before adding that Justin is a “good guy!”

“I feel like the show didn’t paint him in the best light. Justin has been the most supportive man I’ve ever had in my life. Very warm, very kind, very helpful. Never threatened by anything. He didn’t have an issue with me being me, he always supported that and that was something I just wasn’t used to. If there was something that was important to me, it was important to him,” she offered.

In a statement offered exclusively to AlwaysAList.com, Justin shared he was appreciative of his ex’s kind remarks about him despite their split.

“I’d like to thank Goo for being the very best woman in the world,” he said. “She is the classiest and most-caring individual I have met to date, and I will always love her!”

The Atlanta-based musician said that he and Goo Goo maintain a friendship even after their breakup.

“I’d just like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported me and Goo and our relationship. It was not in vain. We are still great friends and I hope that our relationship can just be an example of how mature adults handle life and its seasons,” he concluded.

The third season of “Mary Mary” is currently in production. No word on whether the couple’s breakup will be included on the show.
