The 32-year-old woman suspected of stabbing another woman Saturday in front of her children at a Northeast convenience store turned herself into police Tuesday. Quantrice Jones, a Northeast Washington resident, has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the stunning, sudden act of violence that happened at the Seven Food Store on Benning Road near 19th Street Northeast. The stabbing happened Saturday morning inside the 7 Food Store in the 1800 block of Benning Road NE, authorities say.The incident started when, according to a store employee, the victim told the suspect’s young child not to touch something. That enraged the suspect, the employees say, who pulled a knight and stabbed the victim in the abdomen while her children watched, according to a police report. The victim suffered critical injuries. Not only did the mother’s two children watch as she stabbed the customer, but police sources who watched the video say one child is seen picking up money that the victim dropped and handing it back to her while she is on the ground
