The MPD has released the names of seven of the victims who died in Monday morning’s Navy Yard shooting.
Those identified so far include: 59-year-old Michael Arnold, 53-year-old Sylvia Frasier, 62-year-old Kathy Gaarde, 73-year-old John Roger Johnson, 50-year-old Frank Kohler, 46-year-old Kenneth Bernard Proctor, and 61-year-old Vishnu Pandit.
Additional names are currently being withheld, but in a news conference on Monday evening, it was confirmed that all victims’ ages range from 46 to 73. Their families are being notified, and there is one D.C. resident among the victims.
Meanwhile, eight others incurred injuries, with three individuals shot — including Officer Scott Williams, who is currently in good spirits and doing well. Williams has been with the MPD for approximately 23 years.
Most of the those still alive have been cleared from Navy Yard as of Monday night.
