When the TLC biopic debuted last week on Vh1, it was clear that the group had major issues with their former manager Pebbles. Those issues seem to linger still. Pebbles is planning to sue Left Eye’s estate over money she was owed from 1992, and she vows not to ease up until she’s sees everything she believes is hers. “Just cuz she not here doesn’t mean she ain’t gotta pay what she owe,” said Pebbles last Wednesday. “Everybody pays what they owe. Ask TLC.” Pebbles’ plans to sue Left Eye’s estate is the reason why the living members of TLC have expressed issues with performing some of their hits. They literally aren’t allowed to perform Left Eye’s parts because of legal issues. “TLC just did that BIG movie…hell, they can pay!” said Pebbles.
When asked if the negative portrayal of Pebbles in the movie has driven her to pursue this money even more, Pebbles replied, “It’s just business.”
