Some of the preachers are torn between worlds. Bishop Noel Jones is torn between getting married and bachelorhood, while Minister Deitrick Haddon is torn between pursuing his singing career and going back into the world of ministry. “Let me tell you, man, I ain’t been singing hard enough,” Haddon jokes when he visits Jones’ estate atop a Los Angeles hill. Deitrick flies out to New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival, and Pastor Wayne Chaney wonders whether he should make his wife Myesha second in command at his church.
