Police say three individuals died in an apparent murder-suicide in New Market, Md. Wednesday night.
A woman, a man and a boy under the age of 1 were found dead in the 6800 block of Woods Court just after 8 p.m. A 5-year-old girl was able to escape the shooting uninjured and ran to a neighbor’s home.
Police have not released the identities of those involved, but suspect the incident was a murder-suicide.
“I don’t know how anyone could do that, especially a baby. I don’t, you know, nothing a baby could’ve done to deserve that. Nobody would deserve that,but especially a baby,” said neighbor Brent Preston
The girl is now with Child Protective Services.
