Dancing With The Stars is in season 18. This year to shake up the show they added guest judges. and reformatted some of the dance challenges. Producers and television fans were not prepared for what they saw last night.
Derek Hough who has been on Dancing with the Stars since its debut in 2007 created a dance that will mystify the ages. His star this year, Amy Purdy has special challenges. One of the major ones is that she has no legs!
The task given to the couple last night was a tango. A tango requires a great deal of structure of the body and the legs. Well, to complicate matters his partner suffered an injury. Amy had a muscle spasm in her back last week that sent her to the hospital. She rested for a while this week during rehearsals, and when she did practice, her rib kept “popping out.” Ever-positive partner Derek Hough admitted, “We have a few extra challenges.” But they pulled off a moment in tv history!
How did Derek rectify this problem? He built the dance around a chair!

The dance earned them a perfect round of 10′s.
