Generation Z (those born between 1995 and 2001), will not be left behind as long as First Lady Michelle Obama has anything to say about it.
FLOTUS’s just announced Better Make Room campaign, part of herReach Higher initiative, is connecting Gen-Z with the resources and guidance they need to continue their education past high school.
“There’s nothing more important to this nation’s future than investing in our young people,” said Mrs. Obama in a White House video promoting Reach Higher.
By celebrating students ranging in age from 14 to 19, acknoledging that things aren’t easy and elevating their stories, through a lens normally reserved for sports stars and celebrities, they will feel motivated and inspired.
Better Make Room also serves to boost President Barack Obama’s “North Star” goal, which says, by 2020, America will once again have the highest proportion of college graduates in the world.
