With the rising numbers of Americans using marijuana as a recreational drug, Steve Harvey cautions against it as a way of fueling creativity
To those who say getting high increases their creativity, comedian and media personality Steve Harvey says, nonsense.
“None of your God-given gifts require a mind-altering substance or drinking,” argues the comedian and media personality in a new video, posted in a blog titled “Why I’ve Never Done Drugs.”
The footage was captured on the Los Angeles set of “Little Big Shots,” Harvey’s forthcoming variety show which he is co-executive producing with Ellen Degeneres.
“The reason I don’t drink and indulge in dope is because my gift is tied squarely to my mental alertness and sharpness,” he says. “I don’t care who you are, really, none of our gifts are tied to changing and altering our mental state.”
