People will try to box you in, but the Christian actress is encouraging you to be courageous enough to step outside that box and follow your unique path

Who has time to try to fit into someone else’s mold? Not Meagan Good, that’s for sure!

The “Minority Report” star took to Instagram to shell out advice on how to handle folks who to try to stifle your purpose.

According to the 34-year-old who plays Detective Lara Vega on Fox’s sci-fi drama series, sometimes people won’t understand your path, but, “That’s ok,” she wrote. “Remember to keep your eyes on the One who created you for this very purpose.”

Instead of doing what others expect of you, the wife of preacher and movie executive DeVon Franklin said obey God. “Follow the convictions He puts in your heart, even when others can’t comprehend it,” she added.

Good is no stranger to misunderstanding. From the outfits she wears, to the movie roles she chooses, criticism abounds. But this fierce devout Christian isn’t letting anyone get in the way of her doing all she believes God has chosen her to accomplish.
