How much longer will our winter last?

The furry forecaster, Punxsutawney Phil, did NOT see his shadow during the annual prognostication at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday.

According to legend, that means we can expect an early spring.

This marks only the 18th time Phil did not see his shadow since 1887. Last year was the 102nd time Phil’s shadow predicted an additional six weeks of winter.

It won’t feel much like winter for a few days this week throughout Northeast Ohio as temps creep toward the 60-degree mark.
