UNICEF:

Prominent leaders are being the hands and feet of Jesus through a fundraising initiative to support UNICEF’s K.I.N.D. fund to provide kids with desks, in addition to providing basic school supplies to students during Black History Month

For the second year in a row, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF is partnering with prominent faith leaders from African American churches and religious groups to help the less fortunate globally.

This year, mega pastors Bishop P.A. Brooks, Bishop Charles H. Ellis, III, and more, are teaming with Rise Up and Learn, to provide desks and scholarships for girls in Malawi.

Launched during Black History Month through MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell’sKids in Need of Desks (K.I.N.D.) fund founded in 2010, the initiative will also fundraise to provide students in Africa with basic school supplies such as pencils and notebooks.
