Hillary Clinton, former First Lady of the United States, former New York senator, former U.S. Secretary of State, and current 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, flexed her white lady privilege muscles during an event in South Carolina and shut down #BlackLivesMatter protester Ashley Williams, who asked Clinton to apologize for her support of mass incarceration and referring to children living in poverty and trapped in cycles of violence as “super predators.”

Clinton tried to get Williams to wait until she finished talking, but Williams was relentless in that she was not there for the slick sh*t. She wanted Clinton to answer the question, and her refusal to back down led to two white men attempting to get her to leave. One man grabbed her and removed her from the premises, while Clinton turned her back and said, “Now let’s get back to the issues,” as the white crowd cheered around her.

“Hillary Clinton has a pattern of throwing the Black community under the bus when it serves her politically,” Williams said in a statement before the event. “She called our boys ‘super-predators’ in ’96, then she race-baited when running against Obama in ‘08, now she’s a lifelong civil rights activist. I just want to know which Hillary is running for President, the one from ’96, ’08, or the new Hillary?”
