The Sound of Praise with Maurette Brown Clark premiers middays Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the motto, “Inspiration that Sticks and a Praise that Stays!”
The loveable personality and warm spirit of Maurette is sure to penetrate the hearts of Baltimore and Philadelphia listeners during her hi-energy, two-city, simulcast show. Audiences will get a first-hand view into Maurette – the artist, musician, producer, business mogul, wife and mother.

Bringing a fresh new music variety to middays, The Sound of Praise will feature a range of gospel and inspirational music from traditional to contemporary and from praise and worship to gospel hip-hop. Listeners can also look forward to powerful content features like Noon Day Prayer with Baltimore and Philadelphia ministers and national recording artists highlighted; to daily social engagement during On a Social Note, when Maurette surfs social media for an inspirational post and shouts out un-expectant listeners. Audiences will also get up close and personal with the new radio talent during Maurette’s MOEtivational Moments.
The 18 year gospel music veteran was introduced by gospel music legend Richard Smallwood as a lead singer in his choir, Vision. Soon after, Maurette made her mark with the release of her freshman project, How I Feel with her single, “Breaking of Day” earning her the Stellar Award for Best New Artist in 2000. Four projects later, a host of nominations and several Stellar Award wins, Maurette released her newest single, “King Oh King” in 2015 and it topped the Billboard Gospel Singles Chart at #12.

Mornings with Erica Campbell and be followed by The Willie Moore, Jr. Show and the Nightly Spirit with Darlene McCoy.
