UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

People seek guidance for their lives, but may question who the appropriate person is to give direction. Whom should they trust to provide direction in their quest for guidance? Christ, the reflection of God’s glory, is the one who addresses life’s questions with a powerful and sustaining word.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

God is speaking to us throughout the Scriptures. The challenge is always to hear and know with certainty that we are discerning the voice of God. Surely, God speaks to us in many ways, but the clearest declaration of His voice is found in the person, life, ministry death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His begotten Son. Through the life of Jesus, we discern what God’s will is for all of creation.  God is concerned about all men and women. Without a doubt, Jesus of Nazareth was, is and always will be the Son of God. (Hebrews 13:8)

 PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, grant that we may more clearly and definitely see the glorious image of your Son. May our eyes never become dimmed by the constant din of life’s pressures and the mundane tasks that often distract our attention.  May we remain focused on you and those things we are called to do.  In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
