Pastor Rance Allen is one of the pioneers who fused the sound of R&B with spiritual music. He talks about his new album, “The Rance Allen Group Live From San Francisco,” and its first single, “All Day Long.”  He talks about starting out in the 70s, and how he knew, as a gospel artist signed to Stacks Record, that he had a duty that he was selected by God to carry out.

Plus, he talks about his church, New Bethel Church in Toledo, and how it is grown since its founding in the 1985, and its founder, the late Bishop G.E. Patterson, who was his mentor. Click on the audio player to hear more in this exclusive interview from “Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell.”
