The City of Praise Family Ministries Announces The Homegoing Celebration Arrangements for Minister of Music, Elder John R. Peebles, Jr.

LANDOVER, MD – On Friday, December 9, The City of Praise Family Ministries announced the passing of Elder John R. Peebles, Jr., Minister of Music. Elder John, Jr., graduated into Glory during emergency surgery to repair a damaged artery. Elder John, Jr., served The Kingdom with grace and power, and has left an indelible mark on the lives of tens of thousands. He has now been elevated to worship among the Cloud of Witnesses, and joins his father, Elder John, Sr., grandparents, Bishop James and Apostle Betty Peebles and uncle, Pastor James Peebles, Jr.
The City of Praise Family Ministries will celebrate the life and legacy of Elder John R. Peebles, Jr., with a Memorial Celebration Service on Friday, December 16, at 7:00 pm. The celebration will continue on Saturday, December 17 with a viewing from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, followed by the Official Homegoing Celebration Service. All will be held in the main sanctuary of The City of Praise Family Ministries.
