Legendary comedian George Wallace chatted with Erica Campbell and GRIFF about his new movie, “Just Getting Started.”  He talks about keeping his material fresh by paying attention in church: “If you can’t laugh in church you can’t laugh anywhere.” He also talks about the importance of studying the happenings of the world, and how his comedy stems from growing up spending all day Sunday in church.

George also talks about working with Morgan Freeman in “Just Getting Started.” He jokes that he has never liked Morgan because every role he has played, George felt he could play too- like Nelson Mandela, and Morgan’s character in “Driving Miss Daisy,” for instance. Plus, he talks about some of the amazing projects he has on the way, like being the host of a new TV show! Click on the audio player to hear more in this exclusive interview from “Get Up!
