You may hear a lot of people talking about living abundantly. That is definitely in the will and word of God. The Bible says that He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Abundantly can be interpreted so many ways – we get in our way – some people believe that’s in stuff, tangibles. But God wants us to have an abundance of joy, peace, love…those intangibles. If you have that, then the tangibles follow.
God doesn’t want you to just be average. He didn’t make you average. You’re fearfully and wonderfully made and made you in His image. We don’t serve an average God. His power lives in you. His power works in you. It’s our job to access that power in us. It first means accepting Him as Savior and then accepting His will for our lives and then running with that.
So run after God today, not stuff, not people, say your will be done Lord. Live to please God. Seek Him first. And I guarantee you will experience your abundant life.
I Thessalonians 4:1-2 – Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more. For you remember what we taught you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
