With so many things going on in our daily lives it’s easy to take things for granted. Most of the time we talk about things that we don’t have more than we appreciate the things that we do have. We sometimes talk so much about things we need or want that we begin to have feelings of anxiety, stress and even develop headaches and other physical ailments as a result of these bad feelings. Now, I don’t want to put words in your mouth, so I will just say this is my personal experience. But, can you relate?  Have you noticed that the more you talk negatively about something the more of that negative thing continues to linger and attach itself to you longer? The bible says it like this, “therefore I say until you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them and ye shall have them.” “Life and death is in the power of the tongue, choose life.” We know these scripture and yes we quote them very well so why don’t we say these words with feelings of certainty? I heard someone once say,”don’t have a feeling that you don’t want to become your reality.” That was so POWERFUL to me. But let’s taket it one step further. Don’t SAY anything that you don’t want to become your reality either. Something about that statement had quite a profound impact on me. It gave me a completely different perspective on how I choose to feel about any situation that I’m faced with. I must confess it wasn’t automatic but with practice I learned to become aware of my thoughts throughout the day. I also began to say thank you for everything and I showed gratitude all throughout the day. It’s amazing how things began to turn around in my life. As a bonus I began to stop making things so complicated which made me put my trust in God and I really believe that the Lord IS on my side. I just had to share this because it’s way to good to keep to myself.  Pass it on.
