In a world where there are so much negativity and hatred, I just love when there is a show of love, courage, and heroism, despite going through an unfortunate circumstance.

Our 39th president of the United States who just turned 95 years young last week, suffered injuries in his home right before kicking off a week of voluntary work in Nashville.  Jimmy Carter said to reporters “As a result of falling down, I blackened my eye and hit my head on a sharp edge and had to go to the hospital. But none the less I was not going to let that stop me from my No.1 priority of coming to Nashville and build homes as a part of kicking off a week of volunteer work.”

He and his wife Rosalynn have been working on 21 Nashville homes as a part of their 36th Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project with Habitat for Humanity.
