UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

People easily get discouraged when looking at turbulent conditions in the world. How can we find courage to face these problems? David’s people sang a psalm of thanksgiving and a psalm of worship to God for all the great things God had done for them and for the greatness of God’s being.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

David prayed for his people always to seek the LORD in all their circumstances. We, too, must recall the promises God made and remember they are true! If we serve the LORD faithfully, we will have a fulfilling life. Leaders must be good examples—showing people how to serve the LORD faithfully. God is faithful and He rewards those who diligently seek and trust in Him.

PRAYER:

Lord, let us always embrace every opportunity to give You praise because only You are worthy.

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
