Today’s Motivational Moment comes from Jeremiah 29:11. In a letter Jeremiah wrote from Jerusalem, God says,

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

There are times in life where our choices have us in a place where it feels as if God has forgotten about us. This particular scripture, which is actually part of a letter, written by Jeremiah from Jerusalem, assuring the people who had been exiled to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. He’s letting them know that despite what the situation looked like in the physical, God had not forgotten about them. Further down in that same passage, He says, “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

It’s never too late to trust God because He WILL turn the situation around. God had a plan for the children of Israel, but they had to trust him through their 70 years of captivity in order to see their deliverance. So I challenge you today, Don’t let what’s happening in the physical, distract or discourage you from what’s happening in the spiritual.
