On today’s Motivational Moment, Ronnette Rollins talks about God’s Agape Love. Agape love is the type of love that is selfless, unconditional and sacrificial. It is the highest form of love. Agape love doesn’t come naturally to us but by drawing closer to God and experiencing it through him, we can show and extend it to others.
First John, 4th chapter, 16th versd says “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
