In Colossians 3:16-17, Paul says
“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father, by Him.”
THAT is why we do what we do. Because we have the grace of Christ, the peace of Christ, the Word of Christ and most of all, the name of Christ! Christian means “follower of Christ”. As Christians, all we say and do, should glorify the name of Christ! As His children, we represent Him.
