Christian Hip Hop In The Spotlight At 56th Dove Awards
Christian Hip Hop In The Spotlight At 56th Annual Dove Awards
The nominations for the 56th annual Dove Awards just dropped, and it’s looking good for Christian hip-hop artists this year!
Mark your calendars! The big show is happening October 7th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. You can catch the exclusive broadcast on TBN. They’ll be airing it on both October 10th and October 17th, with showings at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. EST on both days.
This year, my biggest surprise was Forrest Frank has TWO!!! songs nominated for song of the year in a category against heavy hitters like Brandon Lake, Cece Winans and even Jelly Roll. I’ll be honest, BRANDON LAKE AND JELLY ROLL has my vote. The nominated song “Hard Fought Hallelujah” has been on repeat in my playlist. I’ll drop the video below.
Below, you’ll find the full rundown of all the Christian Rappers and artists whose style fit Xtreme Praise who snagged nominations, broken down by category.
Also, consider this your notice that YOU’VE BEEN BLESSED! I’ve dropped the full albums in the AOTY category for you, but make sure you support these artists!
