You won’t believe this, but Vybz Kartel is back with a whole new message. After recently canceling a big show in Trinidad, the legendary artist is leaving the controversy behind and dropping a brand-new gospel track. It’s called “Glory of Jesus,” and it’s a powerful move on his journey of faith.

This isn’t just a regular song. It’s a contemporary take on a beloved classic from the gospel group Grace Thrillers. The song starts with a raw, heartfelt prayer from Kartel himself, asking God to “use me as a vessel” to spread the gospel. He then blends his signature style with that timeless melody, making it something fresh but still familiar.

The response has been crazy. Within just a few hours, “Glory of Jesus” racked up almost 50,000 views on YouTube. Fans are celebrating his new direction, saying they can see the change in his music and message since he was released from prison. One fan even wrote, “I can’t believe Vybz Kartel is talking about Jesus like this. Man is totally reformed. Jesus is Lord indeed.”

This new track follows his earlier faith-inspired song, “God is the Greatest,” which has already hit an impressive 9.5 million views on YouTube.

In a recent interview, Kartel shared that during his 13 years in prison, he prayed every day for a second chance. He even promised to never stop praising God if he got out. He said he read his Bible and talked to God, and now he’s keeping that promise. He even has “love God” tattooed on his face, twice.

The song closes with Kartel giving thanks and making a promise to keep praising God. It’s a powerful statement that shows how he’s blending his musical legacy with a renewed sense of faith and hope.
