The fit of this little black dress, commonly known as the LBD, is spectacular. It fits Yolanda’s shape like a glove, yet the knee length skits, sleeves and modest neckline keep the form fitting dress classy.
The bold necklace and full hair complete the look with a balance of volume and color.
3. At the The 55th Annual Grammy Awards
This multi-printed dress was a risk, but we’re glad she took it! Again the fit is perfect, but this dress is a complete 360 from the previous one. The flashy zebra-like and cheetah prints are calmed by neutral, eye pleasing colors combinations.
Hair, makeup and accessories, or lack thereof, keep the dress the focal point of this look.
4. At the BET Awards 2012 Red Carpet
Ms. Adams is the lady in red with this floor length gown. The deep-V neckline provides some daring femininity to the dress. The lavender clutch and pumps are interesting choices, but work surprisingly we’ll as a complete outfit.

A swift wardrobe change at the 2012 BET Awards brought us this menswear inspired look from Yolanda. If you are a curvaceous woman, take a hint from her by choosing A-line, pocketless pants. This will create a straight line from your hips to the floor, making you look slimmer and longer.
The touch of blue in her earrings coincide with the blue shoes, making this menswear look a little more girly.
6. At The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards
This is exactly what a Grammy dress should be: eye catching, well tailored, and absolutely gorgeous! The gradient effect is a nice touch to the sequence.
And the hair is laid for the gawds.
7. At the BET Celebration of Gospel 2013
This dress is our personal favorite. The cut and soft cream color of the dress is fun and flirty, while silver embellishment keeps it sophisticated. The spiked silver shoes give the dress a bit more character.
And of course that hair! This color is amazing on her!
