The New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board employee who reportedly leaked records about the cop who killed Eric Garner has resigned.

Documents obtained by ThinkProgress revealed Daniel Pantaleo incurred seven disciplinary complaints and 14 individual allegations against him prior to Garner's death.

A New York appeals court panel questioned lawyers for officer Daniel Pantaleo pertaining to releasing the cop's disciplinary records more than a year after the fatal chokehold death of Eric Garner. A lower court has ordered the release of the records, but lawyers for Mayor Bill de Blasio have appealed the decision.
