Metropolitan police say they arrested two men connected to a series of armed robberies committed Christmas Eve and early Christmas morning in Northwest and Northeast D.C.

A gun was found on the suspects when they were pulled over East Capitol Street in Southeast. two other suspects associated to the robberies are still at large, according to police.

According to WJLA, in one robbery:

Investigators say shortly before midnight on Christmas Eve, a man was parked on Webster Street, NE when he was approached by three males. The victim told police the suspects tapped on his window with a handgun. The suspects demanded the man's property; two of them displayed handguns. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the area in a silver or gold-colored vehicle.
