Pastor Tim Kirby, a popular Pastor of Detroit, was shot and killed after he peacefully requested that his partying neighbors keep the noise down late Monday night. The father or four and community activist was very well known in his neighborhood for his positive works in his town, as well as his fiery sermons. His children and other neighbors are greatly saddened by his murder.
Kirby was building his ministry and looking forward to moving to a new church. Now, a congregation is left without its leader and four children are left without their father. Family members say an autopsy will be done. On Thursday, Kirby’s body will be transported to Nashville, Tenn. for funeral services.
