Three Morgan State University football players were injured Tuesday afternoon in a stabbing that occurred on campus, the Baltimore Sun reports.

According to Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony W. Batts, the incident happened near the football field and residence halls around 2:05 p.m. One of the players was stabbed in the chest — he was rushed to the hospital where his condition was labeled as “serious.”

Two others were injured and a fourth person has been identified as a possible suspect or person of interest, the Sun writes.

The incident was second stabbing incident on campus in the past five days, and third incident that attracted police.

On Friday, a male student stabbed his roommate with scissors inside the Rawlings Hall dormitory after an argument over the cleanliness of their room.

Police are investigating this latest act of violence.
