In this edition of Faith Walking, Erica Campbell talks about a sermon that Pastor Sheryl Brady gave from Potter’s House in Dallas, which she shared an excerpt from on social media. In her sermon, she discusses the phrase, “the truth will set you free.” She says it’s actually inaccurate, and that “set you free” implies that God just opens a gate for you to walk through to freedom.

Pastor Cheryl says that rather that “set” the word really should be “make you free.” Because with being made free, there is a process of work that has to take place, and at the end, you’re so grateful you’ve made it there.
