Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton dated for only six months before they got engaged. Now, the bride-to-be is revealing how she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with the Christian singer.
She states that her and Israel were friends before they became involved in a relationship. Now that she’s 33, Bailon insists that she knows what she wants in a relationship, qualities that she has found in her Houghton who she calls her best friend. Instead of trying to impress the frontman of Israel & New Breed she focused on a friendship with the Christian singer before things took a romantic turn.
On an episode of Balion’s talk show “The Real,” Houghton talks about he proposed, saying she is a “This Is a Once-in-a-Lifetime Woman.”
